I am having trouble finding a source document for this (even in Italian, and yeah, I looked), but France24 is reporting that the total number of ICU patients in Italy has gone down for the first time since February 21st. It's not a large drop — less than 2%. But deaths were also lower, so we can be fairly confident that is not the cause.
Oh ... found it now ... it's in a press conference. Found it through the AP feed on this site. Does not seem to be available in print.
