There are reports that Italy is going to martial law (in all but name) in the Lombardy region. The UK has 10K troops on standby if needed in London. In France, you now need to file paperwork to leave your home in some areas.Here's New York's Governor Cuomo on their policies: "These are not helpful hints...they will be enforced."

Be smart. Do the math.That is doubling in 12 days going forward. Working backwards, it's 50K 12 days ago, 25K 24 days ago, 12,500 36 days ago, 6,250 48 days ago, and 3,125 60 days ago. That's when the quarantine went into effect in Wuhan and most of Hubei. That figure sounds about right. My numbers are not encouraging, but they are not intended to frighten. I think "... three months to reach the first 100,000 confirmed cases, and only 12 days to reach the next 100,000." is intended to frighten.
